Requirements for joining

- You don't need a website. You have only to fill the form with your name or a believevable nickname (nothing like GrRlBaBy), a running e-mail and, of course, you Hero!
- You can choose to follow the path of the Dark side, and achieve great powers, or become a Jedi, and protect peace and freedom in the Galaxy.
- You'll have to choose an exact rank in your favourite Order, and not simply a "Jedi" or "Sith" side. Please be carefull when chosing: scroll down the page for a breif explanation rank by rank. ^^
- Jedi High Council members, alongside with equals or higher titles (like Grand Master or Dark Lord of the Sith) are not open to joiners. These ranks are on invitation only: don't bother yourself asking me to.
- You have the chance to add your Jedi or Sith name. Only remember all Sith name must start with Darth, i.e: Darth Hakka. Please also avoid existing Jedi names, and absolutely not Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker or esalogy Jedi/Sith: those characters will be allowed only by invitation only. I'll erase your additional name, and just list you and your rank, in case.

- Last but not least: all it's always up to my discreption. ^^ If you think this sucks, I'll only say two words: semi-elite clique. That means you're welcome to join and you'll be surely added to the list, because only spammers and members with the mail bounced back during join process will not be approved (the semi); but I'll have the right to change or, more likely, erase your additional name according to my judgment (the elite).

For websites owners

- If you have a website, you're encouraged to put up a link back to this clique. More people linking back, especially on blogs and livejournals, and more people can perhaps find out about this clique and join too! ^o^
- Please, no sites with too many ads/pop-up or "bad" sites (e.g., nudity, swearing, illegal downloads, homophobic or offensive).
- Your site address, as long as all your infos, as always to be up-to-date. If, during a check, I find it out really outdated (like 8/10 months), or dead, your URL will be deleted from your infos. Off course you'll be welcome to send in an update form and re-add it. :)

Be sure to read properly Jedi and Sith profiles, so you'll be sure you've chosen the right path!

Jedi - Keepers of the peace

There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.

Members of the monastic order in the galaxy, the Jedi Knights are known for their observance of a spiritual awareness founded on The Force. In the universe, the Jedi have a number of roles, including law enforcement and peaceekeeping in the Galactic Republic.
Their selection and admittance to the order is based upon specific talents that demonstrate that a person has a special link to such Force.
Jedi, since a very young age -when they are recruited, are devoted to a life of service. Their early life involves training in the use of The Force; this training's purpose is to allow the Jedi to understand the special link each of them has with The Force.
Jedi are also portrayed as forsaking emotional attachment in order to serve others and the galaxy as a whole.

The Jedi are usually dressed in simple robes and carrying specialized field gear for their missions including the most notable, the Lightsaber (blue, green or purple).

Light Side of the Force

The Light Side of the Force, also simply called as the Force, is the side of the Force aligned with honesty, compassion, mercy, self-sacrifice, and other positive emotions. The Force give the Jedi the ability to foresee events in the future giving the impression of heightened awareness and amazingly quick reflexes, and helping them to built their own Lighsabers.
In order to achieve harmony with the Light Side of the Force, its practitioners often meditate to clear themselves of emotions.
The light side is associated with creation and life, and is used by the Jedi Order to maintain peace and justice throughout the galaxy.

Ranks

Jedi High Council member. Only few wise, experienced Jedi are invited to serve on the Jedi Council, the primary governing body of the entire Order. Not freely open to members, the Council itself -in the person of myself- decides who and when promote a jedi to this honorific rank. Famous members of the Council are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu and Yoda.

Jedi Master. Actually, a Jedi Master is a Jedi Knight who has succesfully trained a Padawan to the Jedi Knight level. To make it simple, here at the clique it will be the Jedi who has shown great understandings of the Force, and has a Padawan. Jedi Master examples are Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Jedi Knight. Is a Padawan fully trained who has completed the Trials. He's knighted officially by the Jedi Council and he's a Jedi free warrior at all effects. Example of Jedi Knight is Anakin Skywalker - The Hero with no fear, during Episode III and Clone Wars cartoon (second series).

Jedi Padawan. Is an apprentice who begin serious tutelage under a single Jedi Knight or Jedi Master. In order to graduate to Padawan status, an Initiate has to be chosen by a Knight or Master and taken as his sole pupil. Not really need to mention Anakin Skywalker at the very end of Episode I and during Episode II, hmm? ^_-

Jedi vademecum

- Dress in simple robes.
- Keep your lightsaber always efficient.
- Do not lose your lightsaber - "Your weapon is your life"
- Romantic attachments and families relationships are not allowed.
- A Jedi has to serve the whole, and not the single.
- Anger, fear and attachments are your enemies.
- Use the Force for knowledge and defense.
- Not take revenge or kill an unarmed opponent.

Sith - Power at any cost

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

The Sith are the central antagonists of the Jedi Order. Characterized by their single-minded lust for power and disdain for sentient life, they are an alliance of warrior priests who use the dark side of the Force.
Using the Dark side to attain power at any cost, they draw upon strong emotions, both negative and positive, as the source of their power, and care only about themselves. This is in contrast to the Jedi, who are portrayed as forsaking emotional attachment in order to serve others and the galaxy as a whole.
The Sith are able to call on both the Light and Dark Sides of the Force, and that's renders them potentially more dangerous than the Jedi.

Sith carry Lightsabers (red), like their Jedi counterpart.

The Dark Side of the Force

The dark side of the Force is the more destructive side of the Force. Unlike the Light Side of the Force, Dark Force-users drew power from raw emotions, both negative and positive; the power coming from strength or severity. Always associated with death and destruction, the Dark Side itself is not evil and does not make the user evil, but it's the user's belief in the Dark Side's corrupting ability and their own personality and teachings that make them evil.

Ranks

Sith Lord. Is the title given to a powerful Sith Master, although it has been refered to various ranks during the different eras, such as Dark Lord of the Sith and Sith Master. At this clique, the rank will be equivalent to a Jedi Council member, referring to the leaders of the Sith Order: all previous Sith Lords have joined the Force, and I'm the last one living. No Sith will be honored with this title, as long as me will be on command of the Sith Order. One of the most famous Sith Lords is Darth Sidious, the Emperore Palpatine.

Sith Master. Is the title taken by a Sith Knight when he has an apprentice. Loosely equivalent to Jedi Master. Famous Sith Masters are Darth Sidious (also a Sith Lord) and Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku).

Sith Knight. Is the title given to a Sith Apprentice who has completed the training under a Sith Master or Sith Knight. Equivalent to the Jedi Knight rank. I have no examples for this rank, thinking you want to be like a Jedi knighted one, but following the Dark Side of the Force will work right!

Sith Apprentice. Is the person that began serious training under a Sith Master, chosen by the Master himself after displaing an impressive act of loyalty or cruelty or pledging himself to the teachings of the Sith Master. Equivalent to the Jedi Padawan rank, they instead actually end their apprentice times with their dead of the dead of the Master. Famous examples of Sith Apprentice are Darth Vader (ranked to Sith Master for a couple of minutes after killing Emperor Palpatine and before joining the Force), Darth Maul (killed before ranking to Knight) and Darth Tyranus (also know as Count Dooku, killed)

Sith vademecum

- The Dark side is forever. - "If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny"
- Use the Force (Dark Side most) to obtain power.
- Have a single-minded lust for power and disdain for sentient life.
- Be ready to kill your Master, in order to obtain his title.
- No attachment to your Master or Apprentice is allowed. Likely, you or him will be dead soon.
- Anger, fear, aggression, possession, are your friends.
- Force Choke is a sole right of your Sith Lord Darth Vader. Do not choke someone, or beware Darth Vader's fury.
- Your ultimate goal is to rule the galaxy.
