About Wade

Infamous deadly mercenary most know for his mouth, Deadpool is son of the Weapon X project -the same who created the adamantium Wolverine we all know-and sadistic Ajax from Hospice.
He's a master martial artist, an expert marksman and swordsman, and his most dangerous combat style is probably chatter, since he can appear to be completely distracted and disorient his opponent while still focusing on the battle: his blathering has even slightly muddled Daredevil's enhanced senses. Or, as Domino says "he'll talk nonsense until you surrender or commit suicide."
He made appereances in lot of comics, and had his own long series plus some oneshot. He currently appears in his new longseries.
He's also one of the few Marvel characters that have broken the "fourth wall", the wall between comics and reality: he's fully aware of being a comic book character, and often mentions crossovers or other comic book titles.

Why this fanlisting?

I read very little of Deadpool in italian language, but I couldn't stand him. It was years ago, and now I have changed my mind on a lot of things, comics included. I appreciate characters I couldn't stand before (or started hating some I loved to death *coughs - Gambit - coughs*), and that's include old Wade. I totally discovered him reading (in english) Cable & Deadpool (a series I've found out because of an appereance of an Alternative Angel), a series I've fallen in love with, a series that made me love both Cable and the merc. Wade... he's totally crazy and insane, but I can't really resist his charm. *dreamy*
Sooo... I tried to resist, but the fanlisting was open and I gave in. But I don't regret applying: Wade has found a good home here! *hugs Wade*
A couple of weeks after the approval X-Men Origins: Wolverine was out and I was really excited about it: I just couldn't wait to see Wade on the big screen. Ryan portrayed the character really well, so I hope he'll play him again in the announced Deadpool movie and, even though the part was very little (and not so close to the comics version), Wade did deserve every single second on screen: croslisting was eventually mandatory!

I've met (via chat) Dragon eyes through Saya because she was so in love with Wade and with my own graphics here (o_O) and wanted to know me. Since that day we chatted every days, eventually deciding we have a shared neuron in common, Wade Wilson's to be specific: together we are a full Deadpool. XD So... in late November 2009 I decided to ask her if she'd liked to co-own this fanlisting with me, and she's said eyes. :D

The chosen title was originally "Chimichanga", a mexican dish's name Deadpool likes (the word, not the dish itself). But, when I was working on the graphics, the official nickname "Merc with a mouth" fitted perfectly, so I kept it.
